Birmingham Six convictions quashed

The six men were wrongly convicted of the 1974 Birmingham pub bombings and sentenced to life. They were finally released after spending 17 years in prison when their conviction was overturned by the Court of Appeal after being declared unsafe and unsatisfactory.
